Temper Identity

Temper provides a small fasting supplement to curb hunger spikes during intermittent fasting. The existing identity, while functional, is seen as safe in the CPG space so we set out to shake things up with a bold new direction.

These identity explorations all attempt to create a calming or warm feeling, targeting the cold emptiness that comes with hunger.

Direction 01 - Aura

Direction 02 - Bridge

The second direction starts to explore the notion of hunger as a void, and positioning temper as a bridge over, or a fill to that void. This direction features a bold pop of color to contrast the earthy toned colors and natural lighting in photographic style.

Direction 03 - Radiating Warmth

The third direction was based on waves and fluctuations. Change in routine or feeling, we incorporated waves into a logo that felt like it was radiating. We took a bold turn here with color typography, and image choice. Bold stretched type, and wide angle photography creates a unique look in this product space.

Direction 04 - Balance

The last option was developed in direct contrast to the others. Asking ourselves, how paired back and simple can we make the identity? Geometric branding and type paring aligns with static feeling photography with super neutral palette. The yellow brand color is the only bold element, designed to contrast the neutrality of everything else.
